We want Europe? We live Europe! Network meeting with the European Movement Denmark

The European Movement Germany EBD was honored to welcome a representative of the European Movement Denmark on December 20th in Berlin.

On behalf of the EBD, Manuel Knapp, deputy secretary general, provided information about communicational tools and platforms as well as some genereal information on the work of the German association. His colleague Hannes Ortmann who is in charge of the European competition then presented his main project: the pupil’s competition Europäischer Wettbewerb. He gave an overview about the work with students throughout Germany but also shared his experiences with the invité from the European Movement Denmark Søren Warthoe. Wartehoe talked about his thoughts on European education and introduced the work of the Danisch organisation. Amongst others, he presented the campaign We want Europethat was launched recently. The main objective of the meeting was to maintain the good relations between the German and the Danish network as well as to exchange thoughts and ideas in order to improve European communication in both countries.

The European Movement Denmark is located in Copenhagen, the current president of the association is Stine Bosse.
