What Future for UK-EU Relations?
Tuesday, 29 November 2016 18:00 – 20:00 hours Kalkscheune, Johannisstr. 2, 10117 Berlin
Following the United Kingdom’s vote to leave the EU, the relationship between the two is about to undergo seismic change. The Financial Times and the Bertelsmann Stiftung cordially invite you to a panel discussion focusing on what Brexit means for both. We will ask what it means economically, how the political difficulties of the divorce process can be managed and what the future relationship might look like.
The participants in the panel discussion will be Peter Altmaier, Head of the Federal Chancellery and Federal Minister for Special Tasks; Monique van Daalen, Dutch Ambassador to Germany; Daniela Schwarzer, Otto Wolff Director of the DGAP’s Research Institute; and Martin Wolf, Chief Economics Commentator of the Financial Times. The discussion will be moderated by Stefan Wagstyl, Berlin correspondent of the Financial Times.
The panel discussion will be held in English, followed by an informal reception, in the Kalkscheune, Johannisstr. 2, 10117 Berlin.
We look forward to welcoming you!
