Join us for an event entitled The Future of EU Enlargement: The Invasion of Ukraine and its impact on the Western Balkans which will take place on Wednesday, 29th June 2022 from 09:00 to 10:30 CET at Radisson RED, Rue d’Idalie 35, 1050 Brussels.

The European Movement International, in partnership with Raiffeisen Bank International, will gather a panel to tackle the impact of the war in Ukraine on the Western Balkans, from an economic and geostrategic perspective.
Ukraine’s application to join the EU has put the focus on enlargement again. Acknowledging the complications of Western Balkans countries (potential) candidacies, and the reasons that have hindered their enlargement processes, the event will also highlight what Western Balkans countries can bring to the table, and the ways their future prospects are intertwined with the EU’s.
