EMI | More Than Words: What’s Next for the Conference on the Future of Europe?”

Am 24. November veranstaltet die Europäische Bewegung International (EMI) eine Veranstaltung mit dem Titel „More Than Words: What’s Next for the Conference on the Future of Europe?”.“ Anbei finden Sie die Einladung im Wortlaut:

„The European Movement International and SGI Europe are holding a joint event entitled “More Than Words: What’s Next for the Conference on the Future of Europe?”. This event will be held on Wednesday, 30 November 2022 from 10:00 to 12:00 CET in the European Parliament, room ASP3H1.
The Conference on the Future of Europe provided citizens with a framework to engage with European and national institutions, organised civil society, Social Partners, and local and regional governments. That collaboration produced concrete proposals for a better Europe and put forward ground-breaking ideas for democratic participation and decision-making.
This joint event, held two days before the much-awaited CoFoE follow-up event, aims to discuss how we can go from words to action, deliver on the citizens’ recommendations and strengthen citizen participation, so Europeans from all walks of life can actively engage and have a say in the decisions that affect them.“

Among others, the panels will feature:

• Patrizia Toia MEP (S&D), European Parliament;
• Oliver Röpke, President of the Workers‘ Group, European Economic and Social Committee (EESC);
• Daniel Freund MEP (Greens/EFA), European Parliament;
• Valeria Ronzitti, Secretary General, SGI Europe;
• Petros Fassoulas, Secretary General, European Movement International.
