FNS & Deutsch-Britische Gesellschaft | A European Union without the United Kingdom?
On June 23 citizens of the United Kingdom will decide whether to remain in the European Union or leave. If the result of the referendum were to leave (“Brexit”), this would be an unprecedented event of European dis-integration. Economically, the second largest economy would no longer belong to the EU. Politically, the oldest representative democracy in Europe would have turned its back on the project of European integration. We need to discuss possible economic, political and geostrategic consequences of “Brexit” not only for the UK itself but also for the EU and member states such as Germany and France.
You are cordially invited to discuss these issues with us at an exciting event.
