Do you know the main decision-makers in Europe? Do you wonder why to participate in the next European elections and whom to vote for? Do you want to know how to communicate your political demands through digital channels? If you are interested in discussing these questions, take part in our #1stYoungCitizens’FutureLab on 27 and 28 September 2018 at the Europäische Akademie Otzenhausen (EAO).
The #YoungCitizens’FutureLabs aim at developing innovative ideas for the future of Europe by making use of e-participation tools in order to empower young citizens to set the agenda in the next European elections.
The #1stYoungCitizens’FutureLab organised by the IEP and the EAO with the support of the ASKO Europa-Stiftung will kick off a long-term consultation process all over Europe. For the #1stYoungCitizens’FutureLab we are looking for young citizens aged from 16 to 35 to discuss e-participation and digital democracy and to establish concrete policy proposals for the upcoming European elections in 2019.
Participants of the #1stYoungCitizens’FutureLab are our guests, travelling costs up to 200 € will be reimbursed. Click here for the program of the #1stYoungCitizens’FutureLab.
